Two men reported to Procurator Fiscal after police raids in Wishaw

Two men have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal following a search by police on two homes in Craigneuk.

The two homes in Flaxmill Avenue were searched by officers on March 30 resulting in the men, aged 32 and 29, being reported to the PF.

Officers recovered cannabis, a number of tablets, believed to be Valium as well as other Class C drugs.

Wishaw Area Inspector Alan Mulholland said: “Our focus on the Craigneuk area is to safeguard the public from individuals who continue to abuse and sell drugs in the area.

“That focus will continue in the coming months working alongside North Lanarkshire Council Housing and Antisocial Behaviour Inspectors.
