A pharmaceutical giant is urging NSW residents not to delay health checks after finding, two years after the pandemic began, people are still putting off appointments.
The survey of over 2000 NSW residents by the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies in Australia and New Zealand found almost half of people surveyed delayed a medical appointment, test or procedure because of COVID-19, with the majority of those not rescheduling all of the skipped appointments.
»Prevention is the best course of treatment, and these simple, fundamental health checks can be the difference between life and death,» Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in Australia and New Zealand managing director Biljana Naumovic said.
